Could also use Cool Seal on the roof, it makes a big difference on temp.

Where do you get this cool seal?

I built a kenel for my two lacys. It's 10x10 so 5x10 for each dog. 4inch by 4 inch panel, rectangular tubing frame, tin top so the can't crawl out and rock bottom to prevent digging. Also 5 foot tall so I walk in easy enough to feed refill water ect. The elevated kenels would freeze them out where I am. Low to the ground helps cut wind.
