DIY Polaris Ranger Skid Plate/Floor boards/Dual Battery Plate.

    As the title says.

More necessities for my uncle's ranger.

Replaced the factory HDPE skid plate with a homemade 14 gauge steel one.

Also made metal diamond plate floorboards for it that got a fresh coat of roll on Herculiner bedliner paint.

Replaced the battery with two batteries so I made a steel plate with battery holders and installed the True UTV-SBI-CK dual battery kit.

Looks pretty cool. Question though....why did you have to replace the floorboards?

I've had sticks and stobs come through the floor boards I bet that's their reason too.

Over time the floorboards can develop cracks and are slippery when muddy. This is just a permanent fix before they are needed and provide a lot better grip.

Yes, as long as I get to inherit it.

I'll have to keep the floor boards in mind. Well done. My neighbors' is only 2 years old and has cracks already.

Odyssey batteries are fantastic, I run them in my truck. We replaced the Rangers $100+ stock battery (when it went out) with a Walmart riding lawn mower battery, $20.
