Adler and his goon squad of city counsel creatures are all POS's, period. A totally worthless group of turds. If you really want to see what's coming to Austin, go read about the newly elected Travis County DA. That guy is a radical leftist activist, straight up Soros funded plant.

Personally, I’m afraid of the “next level” lib that would backfill Adler- there’s no way a sensible person would be voted into office as the mayor of Austin- sadly, I think it would swing further left as they have the momentum right now.

Of course it will swing more left
Libs are flocking to Austin and conservatives are exiting

Well it fits the story line. Rednecks with paychecks bought all the toilet paper and LWL's fund the Kennedy Center.

Typical socialist. I make rules for you but those rules don't apply to me.

I can't condemn him for going somewhere. I work, I go to the ranch, Home Depot, Lowes, Buc-ee's, Academy. Pretty much where I want to. Didn't get to go deer hunting in Missouri but that's because 2 people in the family we stay with were positive/ sick with Covid.
I'm not scared. Why should he be?

Are you telling TBHers to NOT go deer hunting or shopping?

Nope. But if he told us do whatever you want he would be sued by everyone who got covid.
As the boss I had to rip people for not wearing their PPE or not following safety protocols. But in a few emergencies I bypassed them and when I got the RIP I signed and accepted. Part of the job. He gets ripped either way. Just one way is less costly in law suites.

No. If he's publicly stating one thing as an elected official and they do different,, then he or she should immediately resign for violating their own edicts. Period.

Yeah, that's realistic. Parents tell their kids not to do things they did so I guess they should resign as parents.
Get real. They are politicans but they are humans as well. They have lives to live as you do.

Have heard about quite a few mayors & governors doing this recently. If they pass ordinances/ emergency edicts/laws that prohibit their constituents from doing a certain thing then I think they should abide by the same rules. They are not above the law are they? Same as with the politicians who made their law enforcement stand down during the "protests" and using the same officers to protect their own homes. A down right criminal act in my mind!

Tell that to bar, restaurant and other business owners that have been arrested for trying to make a living see if they agree. It's happened in multiple states.

These bastages making up "laws" about lock downs should be held to a higher standard.

You remember all the racket leading up to and during impeachment? You heard multiple times a day "nobody is above the law, not even the president of the United States"
