Thats about right for good defense ammo. I use gorilla ammo for my defense ammo and its 39.99 for a box of 20 even before all of this ammo shortage.

I was getting HST and Gold Dot from them for 36 cents/round in 2019.

They ran half off sales on 50 round boxes of it all throughout 2019. Plus 8% off for members. Those were awesome times.

Oh yea that’s not really comparable to normal prices either haha. That’s awesome though. They’re generally fairly close to normal. That is the same ammo I carry in all my pistols. Before the nonsense started, I got 50rd boxes for $24.99 for as long as I can recall. It wasn’t just one place either or a fluke sale. I had several weekly email blasts that had it for that price. Thankfully I have plenty of it now.....
