    Connected on a badger

One of my bucket list critters. I always knew they were here, and saw a couple, but was never quick enough to seal the deal, until tonight. I was watching two 10 pts, and all of a sudden they threw their heads up to stare into the brush. I knew something was drawing their attention, but figured it to be another deer. Then this came out. I couldn’t grab the .270 fast enough! Lol
She’ll make a great addition to my critter room.

You should mount it drinking a bottle of honey. That way it can be a honey badger.

In 18 years on a lease near Ballinger we saw lots of dens, but I’m the only one that ever saw a badger, for like five seconds in the headlights. Very unique critter, congrats !

Very cool. I agree though. He needs to be sippin on some honey when mounted.

Very cool. Don’t see them around very much.

To the OP, what part of Texas did you shoot your badger?

Congrats! I have seen a couple, but never been able to get one killed. Always wanted one mounted.
