Perfect conditions or no thank you?

46 degrees outside, 15 mph north wind, and drizzling rain all afternoon. Suck it up and hit the stand or hard pass to hit the kitchen to make some chili or stew?

To the stand! No second guessing this one.

40 and misting rain is my favorite deer hunting weather....since it never snows here.

Rain means a washed out blood trail. I'll always pass on deer hunting in the rain.

Those are perfect duck hunting conditions though.

How many deer do you have passing through your kitchen or living room? Go hunt.

For the last week we have been waking up in our tents in Colorado with temps at about 5 - 15.
                    46 seems pretty nice

I will end up in the tree here shortly, no doubt. Just need to mentally prepare myself as I don't have a covered blind or popup option at this location. Wish me luck!

just depends...if I'm in a good blind I don't mind the weather. I used to sit in a tripod out in those elements but no more. I'll stay in if I can't be comfortable hunting these days.

Making chili over going hunting? Might as well re-braid the manbun too.

Nah, crawl up in bed with momma and wait til in the morning. Deer should be moving good by then.
