It is for fun re: score. I don't care what he scores. He could score 140 or 180 but it is likely we actually get to know the outcome when it is all said and done. I know he is going to be 6.5 this fall and is mature.......so I am going to hunt him.

We had 12 bucks that we felt were mature in the 5-6 yr old age range that we could feel good about hunting......We decided that we would each shoot one. So in order to be fair on who got to hunt what deer, we drew for them. Labeled them 1-12 and then picked numbers randomly. I got #2 and brother got #11 which turned out to be the deer I wanted to hunt anyways. Yes it is high fence but I don't really see how that plays into anything. High Fence, Low Fence, No fence, it is pretty common for people to hunt a target deer.

Genes those have. Of course, I have never killed
A buck on my own place so I’m a little different.
Our Kids are the buck hunters.
I have lease so I can hunt and kill “strange” deer.
