need a good beginner guide for fly fishing in the Jackson area in August.

When you hit town head to http://jdhcoutfitters.com/ or one of the other fly shops around. Ask where folks are catching fish, and on what. Advice from last month, or last year wont help as much as their tips and a few suggested flies. Water was too high when we went (early spring), but you should have some luck. Inside park license is different than the WY license if memory serves, so buy after you plan where to fish.
