Should I refuse because the vaccine has mini robots in it and "Big Brother" can give me diarrhea with a push of a button and spy on me?

Nay for me but my wife did, I just told her to do what she thinks is best for her. I have never had the flu vaccine either and have never had the flu. If I get the China flu and die, I'll be hugging Jesus!

I did mine and little to no ill effect. I was tired a little bit the next day but is all. Im out and about all the time for work so it made sense.

Surprising though my wife got the covid and i had to quarantine with her in the house. Never got it and got tested for it multiple times.

My wife and I have been complacently lukewarm to this whole deal. What’s our actual risk profile? How bad would it suck to find out we should have taken it more seriously? We didn’t get fired up one way or the other, never freaked out and locked the kids down from school but also didn’t go licking door knobs. We were never impacted personally except that our neighbor across the street did die due to the severe respiratory distress or whatever that COVID causes. Knocked him down and killed him pretty quickly.

So this whole time, I relied on science and statistics and objective risk perception to govern my level of concern. It helped make informed decisions and to see thru all the internet dumbassness. It’s still weird that I was skeptical/complacent about whether to rely on the same science and statistics and risk perception in deciding whether to get the shot. But I got it, and lemme tell ya the 5G connectivity that comes with it is fantastic. Never again have to worry about the slow transfer rates of LTE, especially when refreshing webpages with Distill to try and catch the next primer drop.

I don't get out much, figure my risk of getting the real thing is pretty low so don't plan to get it. I've never gotten the flu shot either so there's that. Wife's a nurse, I told her she should probably get it and she was ******, told me to stfu. lol. Besides all that, I had a foggy/dizzy head for about 2 mouths in early summer so for all I know I've already had it.

Your life, make what you think is best. I will take my chances with Covid. Good friend of mine's wife after getting it had serious kidney and liver issues after the shot. Care flighted her to houston icu for a week and doing better now. This really sealed my deal on not getting it. Rare case not to scare anybody. My parents got it today and I think they should have. Different circumstances call for different people.

a little more info about me and why I'm contemplating it....

We have two babies under 4 years old and a wife who is allergic to many things.

I had to go to a funeral last weekend and I know a few people attending have had Covid-19. I was worried to say the least while I was there, because there's no telling who else in that family could have had it or still carrying the virus and if I get it from someone, then I risk my family's health (and maybe life)...

I've had my first one and second scheduled for 4/19. The ONLY reason i got them is that i have a few big trips/vacations coming up and there may be a risk of having to show proof before and airline allows you to travel. Not sure that will happen, but there is a risk and I NEED a vacation!!!!!!!!

I'm not getting it. I have changed nothing since it started (that I wasn't forced to), continue to work, go to stores, ball tournaments, etc. So I figure there's very little chance I havn't already had it. I was sick a couple times last year. No one I'm associated with is contact tracing, so I won't be quarantining.

My wife is a teacher, and they are still contact tracing. So if she's "exposed", she'd have to quarantine and miss work. With the vac. she would not be required to quarantine if "exposed", so she got the shot.

mRNA vaccines have been heavily studied and in development for over a decade. Covid-19 is just one such that uses that technology. There are tons of peer reviewed articles discussing the technology, however you are correct for this particular vaccine the data is limited.

I agree with this, which is why I was hesitant to get the vaccine - however, the exact same argument can be made for actually getting covid. There is no telling what the long-term effects will be.

Since I'm a teacher and coach, we all had the chance a couple of weeks ago to get it. I originally signed up for it, but after trying to read all the BS paperwork they have you sign, I decided against it. One of the first pages was about how its an experimental drug and not cleared thru the FDA. It probably doesn't make any difference if its cleared or not, but I'd rather them experiment on rats, monkeys, or yall instead of me. I don't hold it against anyone who wants to get it, but at this time, I won't be.

It definitely doesn’t have little “mini robots” in it, but it definitely isn’t even an FDA approved medication at this point.

I may have to end up getting it because I work in aviation, but unless it becomes a “lose your career or else” I will abstain because...

1.) MRNA manipulation is gene editing... the makers of these vaccines say they “shouldn’t” enter cells and corrupt your DNA, but might if certain enzymes are present. That could lead to unintended genetic alteration with consequences we can’t foresee.

2.) Vaccine producers have been completely absolved of liability, even above and beyond how untouchable normal vaccine producers are.

3.) Almost all brands of the vaccine use stem cells derived from aborted fetuses (HEK-293 and PER.C6 lines specifically) and I object to their use.

4.) All CoVid19 vaccines are still legally in an experimental trial stage approved under an “Emergency Use Authorization”. If/when it completely goes through the standard clinical double-blind trials (like all other medications have to) I might consider one of the brands with an ethically sourced stem cell line.

Same here. Received first Pfizer shot yesterday. No side effects other than a sore arm and I must say, I can't recall the last shot I had that made my arm this sore. It's not painful, but I most definitely know I got a shot yesterday.

The wife and I did a lot of research on this topic before deciding to take the plunge; which included consulting with multiple doctors.
