    German Shepard needs a home

A friend of mine located a female, young, obedient German shepherd in the Houston area. I have four so I don’t need a fifth but I’m sure I can find her a home. She is sweet, not chipped and looks in good condition. Obviously I don’t know her background but she doesn’t act aggressive at all. If you are interested let me know.

That’s a beautiful dog. Kinda looks like a mal.

    Any idea on age?

Texted my wife....we have an 8 year old German Shepherd female

She’s a sable German shepherd. Long tail and lean body looks like my Czech bred male. I’m going to guess she’s about 18 months. Absolutely beautiful dog. Found in a park just wondering around.

More than likely working lines. Could be some West German blood as well.

Any idea on how she is with other dogs, kids and cat's? We are currently looking to adopt a GS.

If you are adopting you should get this one. Finding a working line GSD through adoption will not be easy. They are far superior to American pet or show lines.

Working line Shepard. Might check her hips looks to me as if they are hunched over a bit. It just might be just the angle of the pic. Great looking GSD.

Could just be the picture. Working lines are generally healthy. That being said there is no telling if the lines could be watered down via backyard breeding yet was somehow able to keep the sable genes going. I'm no expert by any means.
