It didn't exactly quit on me, but the **** GFCI plug in the garage tripped and my freezer was at 37 degrees when I found it this evening. There was water in the bottom of the freezer. It still had ice on the walls. Most of the meat was semi to fully defrosted. I have about 15 lbs of ground venison, 5 lbs of fish, a brisket, and a deer cape from Mexico that I was going to mount.
What does the green screen think? Should I toss everything, or will it be ok to re-freeze the meat and eat later on? I think I'm going to toss the fish in the trash tomorrow. Most importantly, can I re-freeze the cape and and will it will be able to used on a mount?
Thanks
