Cellular Hog Trap

Tired of dealing with hogs so I built myself a cellular hog trap. I finally got it finished up this week and set it up yesterday. Hopefully I can start catching a few. FYI, I took this pic before I raised the gate.

Great job. I’ve built one with the same items it looks like, except I didn’t add a fuse box. That gsm relay should have 2-30 amp circuit breakers. I also used a lever style trip/release mechanism. Makes it super easy to reset.

Nice job! I had looked into doing this with my nephew a few years ago, after seeing the cost of some of the mfg's were selling them for. I have the fab and welding skills. But couldn't figure the actuator I needed to keep the cost down back then.
