Default New Hill Country home finally underway

Covid set us back and crazy prices made us wait even more. But finally we have shovels in the ground and the slab is days away from being poured. 2000'sqft 3/2 open concept on 6.5 acs in Harper. $180/sqft. I will post some pictures tomorrow. Exciting times for the Mrs and I.

Great news. Keep us updated. That’s about the right amount of acreage for a home place.

We have two homes built from the dirt up. They we’re both good experiences. Especially our last builder out of Lufkin.

Good morning y'all and thank you.
Here are a few pics of the slab prep and I also bought a 40' one trip container(dark blue one) with one set of doors that I think I got a good deal on at 6200 delivered. Time to start ordering appliances. We are going with GE Monogram appliances except for fridge.

Hey Cory! I have been full time a little over a year now. The wife is still buttoning up loose ends up North. She will be down for Feb when we anticipate the house to be finished.
