I agree 100% bro, back in the day I spent hours every evening building arrows and making them look purdy. Now that I'm making knives full time, I hardly have the time to even string up a bow.

I currently used some tapered doug fir footed with bois d'arc. I also have some bubinga , cocobolo and purple heart footed arrows .

Umm, that’s not what they are talking about!!!!

A footed wood shaft is a shaft with another kind of wood fitted to it (usually a hardwood).

Yeah they look good. They also look expensive.
I'm talking a dozen weight matched shafts, finished but not cut to length. You finish them out yourself and I have just the turkey feathers to do that. I will be picking up a better taper tool than I have now
