Something going on in Jack County?

This radar marker hasn't moved in about a half hour, but has changed shaped. Was wondering if there was something big burning in that area that the radar is picking up?

Any wind farms in that area? I know on clear, still days the big wind farms in both Floyd and Scurry counties produce enough turbulence to cause a return on radar

Radar will pick up anything thick enough to bounce back a signal, even large flocks of birds.

True! Hummingbird flocks have been seen on radar far out into the gulf of Mexico heading to Yucatan. Amazing creatures
