Who to call when someone dies while on your deer lease?

A friend of mine died sitting in his stand and his son found him.

I've been told you must call the Game Warden to report it. Is this true?

Unattended deaths (non medical) you should notify the local law enforcement authority. They will handle the rest (Justice of the Peace, funeral home, etc). Sorry for your loss.

Sheriff or constable they will get a hold of jop to certify time of death and have body moved
