It’s dry as a bone out here!!! I sure hope we get some rain soon. Even the cactus on my place are stressed right now!

Bad bad dry. Praying for rain. May head down this week to check feeders and look for the spotted critters
Maybe shoot a turkey in the face.

I’m going to set up some water troughs next week to make sure they stay hydrated. Anyone hearing Turks gobbling yet?

I rarely get any turkeys on my place, but I pulled camera cards today and had a few pics of some jakes. Hopefully some bigger ones will find my place before the season opens. I’ve never killed one here yet!

That’s nuts I thought the whole area was covered in them! We have quite a few on our place. I’ll
Give you a shout one of these days see if we can set something up so you can come smoke one

That would be awesome! I’m hunting with the compound these days and I really want to get one with the Magnus Bullhead. If those jakes stay around here, I might just burn a tag on one just to get it done with the Bullhead.

I’m trying to post pics from the TPWD app. 100% showed me March 19 for Sutton county the other day. I have proof. Now it shows April 2nd. Hmmmmmmmm

It’s telling me wrong format and won’t let me upload the pics.

Congrats! I tried to kill one at Diamond C and it was an epic fail! Had shooters in range each day but never got a shot off! Something different each and every time.
