Its actually easy and there's a lot of potential. No different than the real world honestly. Heck, my kids pretty much do it all the time and don't even know it. In fact, anyone on the forum with kids is likely to already be doing it.

You know those "skins" that kids "need" to buy for their video games? Same thing. You play in a fantasy world, you want fantasy things. Let's say you set up a fake person to represent YOU in that world. That fake person needs clothes, cars, etc.....YOU need to acquire those things from somewhere. There'll be an online virtual store that you go to and spend money at.
