Congrats on your new bow! I shoot a Halon now but to be honest I would still be shooting my second hand DXT if my in laws hadn’t given me the Halon for Christmas a couple years back. Both bows shoot Slick Trick Magnums and Montec G5’s well, they group right with my field tips. Tune your bow and shoot SHARP broad heads!

      125 grain Magnus black hornets.
Complete pass through on this cow elk and great blood trail.

My last 530 grain arrow tipped with a 100 gr exodus and 150 gr insert zipped thru the deer and lodged in a pine knot on the ground. I had to unscrew my arrow to get it back. The broadhead is gone forever. The deer was dead about 20 feet from the arrow.

Been shooting the VPA 125 grain non vented for a couple of years now. I’m very happy with them. No screws, no moving parts but you have to re-sharpen them yourself.

Switched from 3 blade blood runners to Rage Hypodermic, they work great and hold great groups at distance in my opinion.

                    What? [emoji848]

If it groups in practice well, it hits consistently where you aim, no? Just like a rifle.

Tune ur bow and ur bare shafts and u can put any head of the same weight up front and it will fly. U got no business comparing a bow to a rifle

They are top secret as well. Ok, I’ve said too much already.

I guess you missed post 4....LOL.. Did you just discover tuning?

Ducko we all strive for good groups. Good groups means your equipment and form are good. Not all broadheads fly the same in the longer ranges. No matter what we say about tuning our bows, there is still going to be some different aerodynamics on different heads. The guy specifically said long ranges. I would be looking for good groups at longer ranges (hell all ranges for that matter) to confirm my form and equipment are on.
