Looking for recriminations on a place to stay for a weekend

I don’t know if it’s still there but back in the late ‘90’s - early 2000’s there was a nice little motel there called, I believe, Campwood Inn. Stayed there a few times when it got too cold to stay in our drafty deer camp cabin.

Big Oak just outside town. You'll pay a little more than Woodbine but it's the only place we stay. Depending on the number of people you're going with, they have small cabins up to cabins that sleep 13 people. You can walk down to the Nueces, basketball court, etc. and you'll probably have deer walking around the property.
