Winter Weather This weekend

I couldn't find a thread started yet on this weekends potential winter storm. Weather models still have a lot of sorting out to do but it could be a good one for a large part of the state.

Anywhere you could show a overlay of the counties in Texas? Hard to tell where things are other than statewide.

The GEM always leans on the heavier side. Having said that, it pretty darn near nailed the New Years Eve storm in west Texas last weekend. But it’s track in that model run doesent make a lot of sense.

I expect more of the track of the GFSwith snow totals near the GEM

But it is early and lots of things to unfold on this one. But all 3 models put lubbock in a pretty sweet spot... but before I get giddy.... I’ve seen this before and lubbock manages to get dry slotted with good snow N & S, but not over us

When are they saying this will hit, especially in Lubbock. Wife is up there with the dog and supposedly leaving Saturday. Do not want her to get caught in this.

Very good. I will be hunting in Toledo Bend Sabine NF Sat, Sun,and Mon Am. Muzzleloader. I hope I get to track them in the snow while they are confused. Should be awesome.
