We are going to contact the game warden and hopefully biologist to garner any details. It's frustrating to strictly manage members harvest, feed protein, etc., etc. and end up progressively worse.

No turkeys harvested this year either which is also surprising. No way is this place shot out as we've been there many years.

Interestingly, we never see sickly animals and the few seen or shot are very healthy. Often, the deer are sort of indifferent to corn so we're sure inadequate forage isn't the issue.

The number of gun shots from adjacent places is almost non-existent by comparison so our issues aren't unique.......your post confirm this as well.

Sounds like zero fawn production from predators.
We hunted near there one year. Just north of a Briscoe prop.
Ranch had serious predator trapper including helicopter.

I hunt this same property. We have the dry Frio river near one pasture of the lease. There are two windmills that are no longer working and seems that the ranch owners do not want to repair. (No livestock on property) So basically no water actually on the lease.
What are the green screens thoughts on adding water stations?

If you have hogs in that area you have a predator problem,
They will eat a fawn or lamb right out of a doe or ewe
That and the hunters that area long term have terrible management problems, and new hunters join get disappointed and blast every thing out of spite and leave
