    Fawns on the ground?

I was on my patio relaxing and watching for game. I heard a fawn bellow twice so I went in and put on my boots to go look. I saw a doe running around and then come back. About that time a tiny fawn jumped up and stumbled and semi ran. I went back in the house as the baby and momma were regrouping. I sure wanted to get a picture. Anyone else seeing any babies yet? If so tell your story and post up pictures if you were lucky enough to get some!

I haven’t seen any yet, got a bunch of doe here that look like they’re ready to pop any day though.

None in my neck of the woods. Lots of pregnant mamas, though.

I haven't seen any babies on my place but several of the does are off by their self. Babies not getting up and running with them yet when I go by on my Can-Am!

Lots of pregnant mommas in the yard every day. Finally saw the first fawn two days ago. I’m guessing they will be thick around here within a week or two.

Saw a new fawn a couple of weeks ago in Brazos county. Seemed really early to me.

First one of the year spotted today in Southeastern Comal county.

Which is really late for us. Usually the first one shows up about Tax Day, April 15th.
