Me and the wife went out to eat dinner at a local restaurant and the table next to us sat about a 5yr old girl. Her mom sat at the next able over with what looked like the grandmother. The little girl was eating sweet&low packets one right after the other paper and all !! Mom saw her doing it and did nothing ! I got up and took the box of about 15 off the table. Mom got mad and grabbed the little girl and stormed out of the restaurant! What the heck is wrong with people! I wasn’t just going to sit there and watch a child choke or somehow poison herself! I guess I’ll be that bad guy …

About 6-7 years ago I started making my family put phones away at a restaurant table. Now we talk about all the azzclowns we see who can’t even have a conversation with people/ family they are sitting with at a table.

Yeah unfortunately those kinda people are breeding and raising kids in a way I can’t wrap my head around. There’s gonna be a day when normal is gone. And the world will be run by people who have no morals or values like most of us have been raised with. Unfortunately we are already there just watch the news and commercials these days.

Be kind to someone when you can and help someone when you can.

I wish I would have pushed my 2 boys much harder on their education. But I am proud of the young men they have turned into. I tell my friends younger kids to get an education, and learn to learn and problem solve, learn core values the way most of us have been raised. The golden rule” do onto others… treat others how you wanna be treated. Learn about God. Good chance they will be the cream that rises to the top. Because the next generation and this world is full dumb, ignorant people/ azzclowns who have no values or a clue how to function past the screens on their iPhones. Our world is becoming a place I am soooo fearful of for my next generations because I won’t be here long enough to do everything in my power to protect them from the world and all the monsters in it. That poor girl in Paradise just breaks my heart.

Yes, kind of odd the mother was sitting at a table other than the one her young daughter was sitting at. That part alone, seems quite odd for most mother's who have young kids, more so daughters. Then allowing her to eat those packages. I wonder if they were trying to create a situation to sue the restaurant.

I've had to speak up when I've seen other parents that didn't know how to make their kids mind. Most of the time they get offended, but I don't care. If the kid doesn't know how to act in public and respect others or property, then keep them at home.

We had a situation at church yesterday where a couple came into church, dropped their child off in the childcare area, and then proceeded to leave the church. An observant volunteer caught up to them in the parking lot as they attempted to leave. When confronted, they indicated they would be back in time to pick up their child, presumably meaning the end of the church service. Apparently it is not the first time a situation like this has happened. I guess some parents are looking for a free hour and a half of babysitting so they can go out for breakfast, shopping, etc. Worst part is if the child had a medical emergency, the parents would not have been present to respond or consent to treatment.

My wife pours a packet of sweet in low on the plate at restaurants for the kids to stick their finger in and lick while we are waiting for our food. I'm not a fan of it at all but at least she does discard the paper.

I saw some kids riding the handicap scooter at Kroger a few years ago. I confronted them and here come the Mom riding her scooter also. All of them were able body and not handicap. She called her husband to come "teach me how to mind my own bizness". Here he come on his scooter, by the time the Dad made it down the isle the Mom had made a enough of a seen that she was attracting on lookers. When he got there he started in with his jaw yappin and a few more men finally stood up behind me. I didn't care I was going to stand up for what was right. In the end, they all left walking and not on the scooter. The Kids seemed to be embarrassed by their parents conduct.

My family has been in the restaurant business for years, and my wife has worked for them, she said the manners a lot of kids have plus the food they waste is unbelievable.
I got invited to join a lease in San saba county close to 30 years ago, my brother invited his boss to join the lease, he had3 boys, I had 3 boys.
His boss seemed like a real good guy, but would not correct his kids, they were hunting age like my boys and ran around like wild goats.
I just didn’t feel right about hurting with them, so I packed up and took my boys home, after we left they had 2 accidental discharges with their rifles, no one was hurt, but.
That was the end of hunting with them.

But I agree, there could be times when it becomes someone’s business. Where is that line? For me it would not have been that. Once you conclude that the majority of people are horrible at being people. And once you decide that you are going to focus on who you are as a person and not on how strangers are as people, your journey through this existence becomes easier.
