    Micro slice o TX

The wife and I just closed on just shy of 4 acres here in Grayson County. Not nearly what we wanted size wise, but it's what fit the budget and will get us out of the city limits.

It's got LOTS of trees and 2 creeks, and already found a few deer tracks. I know actually seeing them will be a rare occasion, but it'll be welcomed when it happens.

    Address is [emoji3581]
    Culvert and entry is [emoji3581]

    Next up:
Water - at the road ($4,100 for tap, meter, and under street bore)
Electric - going to install t pole for shop build
    Septic- currently getting quotes
    Clearing.
    Small pond dig.

Then shop with bathroom/shower, then house later..

I'll keep this updated as much as possible with pictures.

For the clearing, and based on the pictures above.. wanting to clear the scrub brush, small trees, small cedars, but leaving all the pretty oak trees.

I think I can get by with a zero turn, chainsaw, and some elbow grease.. thoughts?

Yes you can just be prepared to work. A lot.

We bought a 1 acre lot a couple years ago that was thick with vines and scrub trees and cactus. I shed a lot of blood and killed my fair share of lawn mower blades but got it done…. Worked on it for months in our spare time and then watched the lot across the street get done in two days with a mulcher.

Congrats man! I would suggest leaving a little cover if possible. Our property is covered with yaupon and oaks. So I’m have em clear out around the oaks while Lea it’s privacy barrier if you will.
