Sorry for the Delay fellas, it's been a long weird Season. Let's all pray we start seeing some much needed Rains soon. Over all the Deer seem to be in good shape coming out of rut but, we all know this is such a critical time in a bucks fight for Life.

This year is kicking off with challenges already with shortages and high feed cost. Everyone really should be looking long term at this point at what could happen in the coming months and prepare your self as best as you can given the worlds effect on each and everyone of us.

Like always let's keeps this clean and do our part to help our fellow hunters stay safe and be successful as possible. Post up any questions, weather reports, lease openings or concerns to better benefit our community.

New year, new ranch. Already got cottonseed and protein going at a couple spots, and the rest at the end of March.

In for another helluva year in Old Mexico. I just realized this will be my 10th season hunting the last whitetail frontier. Wouldn't trade all of the memories and adventures I've had down there for anything. Looking forward to the next 10!

You got me to reflecting. The upcoming season will be my 37th year to hunt Mexico. Have owned my ranch for 25 years down there. Look forward to this year as if it were my first!

I first hunted Mexico in the mid 90s and hunted several years before leaving bc of the long drive for me at that time and not really finding the type of deer we were looking for. Went back 2004-2008 with a much shorter drive as I had moved closer to the border. We got out due to the turmoil at that time. I sure do miss it and try to stay current with the Mexico hunting scene. I think one day I'll jump into the pool again, but for now I just gaze from afar.

This will be my 33rd season crossing the Rio Grande. About every other yr I say I'm gonna hang it up but, it never seems to work out for some reason

There is just nothing like hunting Mexico. Once you go, you have to go back, again and again. 41 years and counting for me. I hope to have my book out by late summer about the experiences. Those that have been there and done it will be able to relate to some of the "fun" dealing with Mexico hunting. Mexico hunting is definitely a drug.

We moved out of the hills of Villa Union to a ranch further south. This is my 6th year and I can’t wait for season to start. Praying for rain. Hope everyone has a great season!

Made a quick trip down to kick off our bulk feeding of cottonseed to try and stay ahead of this dry spell. Our deer are about 40% shed and overall looking in good shape given the drought. Brush is trying to bloom given zero moisture in our area. Prayers we all see some much needed rain soon.

We’re getting quite a bit off just south of Nuevo Laredo. Had 4/10” last Wednesday. Haven’t got an exact number but looking at the radar it had several hours of rain off and on today. Tomorrow looks very promising as well!!
