here is one of those "deer lease" adds

I always look at some of the lease prices and say that is expensive but if I had the money maybe I'd do it- usually the $10-$12k South Texas leases. I was looking for a sprayer on Craigslist in the Farm section and look at this. I may forget about spraying and clearing my little 30 acres and lease it out.

its a little over $257 an acre if my math is right

I thought the same thing- it is amazing what people will try to lease and even more amazing if someone actually contacts this idiot.

I'm pretty sure I know who this guy is. He has advertised a couple of deer leases in San Marcos on CL. He is a character and scam artist. To top it off he doesn't like the police. Imagine that.

when I see thing like this it makes me wish the state issued buck permits...

but that would just make hunting even more expensive....

                  what a joke.

That place must be loaded with deer if you can take 4 bucks and 8 does.

It is without a doubt the same deer. It looks like they took one picture ande then turned around and took another photo from a different direction. I am all for them getting whatever the market will bear but $3500 for 17 acres is a bit much.

I don't know whats more upsetting charging over 200 bucks an acre or, killing a deer per 1.4 acres.
