I’m in the two dogs camp. Don’t see enough evidence for that to be a deer and unless deer learned how to climb trees, that dog appears to be looking upward like the coon went up the tree.

I see a picture of a GS with something behind it that is too obscured to tell positively what it is. Posting the original picture with a deer in it suggests to the mind that the dog has the deer down. But looking at the picture, I don't see that the dog has anything in its mouth. That's not generally how it works .
That makes me question whether it is a deer, or is it a second dog? I am with GarGuy, my first thought was that hind leg sure looks like it has a deer hoof at the end of it.

I see two dogs. Deer in the first picture is way too big to be completely obscured behind the german shepherd in the second pic IMO. Go out and look for blood. It shouldn't be tough to tell if these are cell cam pics.

I see two canines in the second pic. You can clearly see the tail of the other above the back of the one on the foreground.

I say cut the limb, shoot the coon, and the jury is out on the dog. He could be a nice coon harassing dog.

That "tail" in the background looks like a deer's leg. Notice the hoof on end of it.
