Does anyone know where I can get used Astro turf or outdoor carpet in the Austin area? Doesn’t need to be in great shape or look good. I’m going to put it under feeders to keep the hogs from digging holes.

Just stake down some hog panels underneath your feeder, however big of an area as needed. After a while you will hardly no they are there after being walked on and pushed into the dirt.Comment

The issue with this and the panels under the feeder is this is a creek bottom that floods 4-10 times a year. A feeder pen will catch so much trash it wouldn’t last more than 2 floods. The biggest problem is once they have a hole they pack the mud off on their bodies which slowly but surely makes the problem worse.Originally posted by brokeno View PostComment
