Standard Time or Daylight Savings Time

Texas will be allowing us to vote this November on whether to keep standard time or daylight savings time all year long. (No more changing the clocks.) Which would you prefer come deer season? Well, I guess I should say which would you prefer in November, December, January hunting time frame? October we are currently hunting in daylight savings time.

DST does nothing for me. I am an “early to bed, early to rise” guy year-round so I like an early sunrise.

According to what I have read, we can do Standard time with a vote at state level. If we want to stay with Daylight Savings Time only, that take an agreement by Congress, regardless of the state vote. I am pretty certain that is correct.
