I have 3 game winner feeders with GW timers and have never had an issue. Ive had more issues with the "better" timers I own. If the feeder shown had square tubing legs like the GW low boy feeder, Id buy it. But, the cheaper, angle legs wouldnt last a week at my place. cows would have it tore up. No issues with my low boy feeder.

and fwiw, WGI doesnt make their timers. BA products makes timers for WGI and remington and GW and a host of others. Same thing with MANY other products. dishwashers, stoves, stereos, oil.

funny thing about oil. Go to walmart, get their supertech oil and get a bottle of shell oil. different bottle, different price, BUT EXACTLY THE SAME OIL INSIDE THE BOTTLE! THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE PACKAGING!

Ive owned 3 different brands of flashlights and if you read the fine print, they were all made by the same company, just a different name.

Okay I got the feeder all setup. I tested the RPM settings ME and High. No issues getting the corn out past the guard. GW timer is a cheap timer, but it works. Like a few have said. If this control unit and timer go out I will just replace it. It's worth it to have a walk up feeder.

Looks interesting I may have to go get this for a second spot. I have a sunslinger unit I wonder if it would fit in the cage yet still receive enough light.

Can you pls share What brand is this motor/timer?

You'd think he'd know how to count if he's a school admin lol

650 lbs at a time isn't that bad of a deal.

two weeks in the field and the critters are hitting it. I need to adjust the distance between the spinner and the funnel.

Happy to report this feeder is doing a great job. slinging corn twice a day.

Yep I will be getting another for next year.

                                My thinking also
