There's not enough NFL teams to hire all you armchair head coaches.

Lmao. Your anti-Cowboys obsession is showing . That’s ridiculous

Seattle, Rams, Lions? San Fran 2? Hell Garapolo is the honkey Dak..
Shows flashes and then BayouBoys the bed. Inconsistent as hell

Steelers, Browns?

I would release Zeke. Hang on to Pollard. Get another quality RB. Get another TE and keep the ball in Dak's hands for less time. It needs to be an up tempo quick offense and it will work. Dak is not going to "look over a defense" and pick them apart. Not going to happen. He aint that guy but he can win with the right plan. The Defense is solid. work to be done but solid.
Pretty much agree but not going to pay Pollard a big salary, look what happened with Gallup or Zeke for that matter, plenty of great backs coming out in the draft ( Bijon Robinson would be a Godsend ) they also need another really good receiver, it could be a tight end as you mentioned, the defense is a key factor as well

I would take every QB I mentioned over Dak. Go ahead and keep looking through your blue colored glasses. Dak will never win a championship or carry a team. He builds numbers against krap teams. When he has to tote the load he falters each and every time. There has never been a bigger deer in the headlights QB than him. I am not a cowgirl hater. "I also don't care for them either". I just could care less if they win or lose. But, I am a realist.

Dallas' window is shrinking. No #2 receiver, no blocking TE, no healthy RB, terrible QB, terrible OC, D C more than likely about to leave, kicker with mental issues, and a senile owner that has one foot in the assisted living home.

But hey.... the dak attack is the commander of America's team. Keep on believe'n

Your best QB is on the bench! A game manager would have won that game.

Not sure about that, have you watched him play this year ? I really do not care about the stats, he single handedly lost the game against the 9 ers, I guess he had an assist from Diggs.

That was more defense than Dak. Brady didn't have his Gronk this year and his OL was trashed.

For the 2022 NFL regular season:

QBR: Dak #12 overall. Dak #5 in the NFC. Dak #3 in the NFC East.

Yards per completion: Dak #13.
Completion %: Dak #14.
Passing yards per game: Dak #13.
Passer rating: Dak #15.
Interceptions: Dak #1 (and only played in 12 games).
Adjusted QBR: Dak #12.

Dak is a solid middle of the pack QB.

Well no ****....Unless Dak plays defense. Brady's passing/accuracy sucked versus Dallas.. Overthrows, Underthrows....

Dak was 25-33 for 305 yards and 4 TDs He was part of the *** whipping. .... Brady wouldn't have Gronk with the Cowboys either.

Tampa Bay is a terrible team with a losing record. Thanks for proving once again he pads his stats against a terrible team.

Look how many interceptions he threw this year even while missing multiple games. He would be lucky to make the top 20 in QB's. The good thing is.... Eagles and Giants are trending ^^^^^^. And, so will the Commanders if they find a good QB. Things will only get tougher in the future.

That is an awesome list. Put any of those QB's with the cowpokes and they are still playing. The only stat that matters is W's, L's, and ships. Ask Dan Marino

The red rocket would have beaten SF. Jerrah is scared to bench Dak.

You're losing it ol man. Keep up with us. If you follow the chain, that post was merely to show that acquiring Brady at 46 is not an upgrade over Dak. I'm not defending Dak as the Dallas QB...I'm showing that if Dak can't get it done here, Brady's decline would not be an upgrade either.

You are correct. Brady is average at best now. He needs to go away.

Unless Dallas gets a coach that puts his thumb on Dak and keeps him in order on doing dumb stuff he will remain mediocre. With the contract he has Dallas is stuck with him. Jerry stays out of the coach's way and gives him full control on getting Dak straight or things will remain status quo.

I'm not sure coaching can fix Dak's inconsistencies. He like a mental coin flip every game. You never know who you are going to get...

Ya my point wasn't necessarily that dak is an eltie qb, it was more that the nfc is a very weak conference when it comes to qb's.

With that said, who would have ever thought eli manning, flaco or foles would have ever won super bowls.

So dak could win a SB but it will take alot of team help to do so.

I watched all those games and many of their games in their winning seasons, I'd take all three over Dak and would have to start this season before knowing how it would end. Hell I was pulling for Cooper Rush to keep playing. lol

Exactly, they had one season or just a short stretch of good games and the rest of their careers were nothing.

I was a huge cowboy fan as a kid. I had a shoebox of trading cards that included every member of the 1972 Cowboys Super Bowl team. Mom threw them out when I moved away for college. I still wonder what they would be worth today.

As things progressed, I struggled when the Landry era ended and again when they hired Switzer (who I eventually liked thanks to the ticket). But once the triplets were gone and the glory years were over it became more difficult to remain a fan. College football moved from being an equal in my fandom to replacing the NFL as top personal sport.

I listened to the last Niners game on radio just so I’d know the talking points but that was as far as I got. I just can’t seem to muster enough interest to invest my time watching like a regular fan. In fact, I don’t think I saw a full game all season.

While I’m sure there’s room for me on the bandwagon if they ever became a legit contender again for now, it’s all just “meh”. I’d certainly be happy if they got another ring but I’m not sure that is even a possibility without major restructuring / change that won’t come as long as Jerry is above ground.

Meanwhile, I like to come here and read the thoughts from real fans. It’s too bad the haters have to come pee in the pool but that seems to be part of it these days. That’s why we can’t have nice things… like decent discussions about sports.

Oh well. That pee in the pool mentality spills over to a lot of my inability to participate. Sure would be nice if a correction came along but that’s about as likely as Dak with a superbowl ring.

Jerry is the problem. Has been and will always be. Stephen is no different. Dak, Elliot, Moore, and McCarthy need to go but it won’t happen. How many bad seasons did Garrett get? Too many. Cowboys need a good GM but I’ll revert back to my first sentence.

I grew up watching Dad & most everyone else I knew yelling at the TV / rooting on the boys...watching Roger & the other iconic players back in those days stamped me a life long fan through thick & thin.

I too was irked how Landry was outed / dealing with JJ ownership, but doubt there is anything to dilute my enthusiasm, just like it would be impossible for me to ever want the eagles win a game even if was to help the boys for playoffs...I love dallas & loathe philly. Is what it is.

Going out on a limb here and saying that the Cowboys are fixing to try and jump to the head of the pack and try and hire Sean Payton as head coach. Just a wild hunch but something big is about to come down.

The only “big” thing around the cowboygirls nowadays is the sucking sound we all hear every year about this time. Bye now…….

JJ always tries to make a big splash shortly after the season is over right? Just seems like that would be something he would try and pull something out of the ordinary.

Why would the Cowboys give up a number 1 pick and 20 M a year for Sean Payton, he has less play off wins and regular season wins than McCarthy, does not make much sense to me.

I’m a redskins fan and listening to you fellas cry about Dak is amusing. I’d take him in a heartbeat, I think he’d be number 32 for the skins in the last ten years! He is better than half of the QB’s in the league, the grass is not always greener.
