Pig Hunting Prep

I ordered this camera a couple of days go in preparation of getting back serious doing pig hunting once deer season is over, and getting good video of it.

It does 4k video (great for slow motion), 48 megapixel still shots, has infrared night vision, and is remote control. Should make for some really good video.

I also have some strobing lighted nocks on the way.

This is a cheap (really cheap for what it is) camera, but the reviews I've read, and sample video I've seen are all good, so we'll see.

I've been using my phone also, and it doesn't do 4K video (old phone), so this should be a lot better video on top of being much easier to use.

Camera was delivered today.

I'm the the process of setting it all up, and getting it charged.

I'll do a full review of it sometime soon, but so far I am impressed. The look & feel of it do not make me think junk, and it reminds me very much of a Sony Handy Cam.

I hope to do some test/sample video of it today, but have lots of other stuff going on, so may not get to.

I still haven't had time to get outside with the camera, but I did a low light slow motion edit of a ceiling fan with 1080P @ 120 FPS, and it ain't bad. Not very jerky even at 1/8th speed.

I didn't notice it before, but there is a 720P @ 240 FPS setting in the camera.

I'll do some shooting video with it at that setting to see how the slow motion does with it.

SloMo should be much better, but the video quality may degrade.

We'll see.
