    Glock 34 Shooting High

    Recently got a 34.

Took the factory adjustable sights off and replaced with Trijicon night sights for a G 17/22.

Went to the range to plunk a bit and missed the first few plates. Could tell I was shooting high. Shot it on paper and at 15 yards it’s about 4” high. Less as you get closer.

Prefer to keep the night sights, but may just call Dawson Precision and get some fiber optic for it.

    Any suggestions?

I may be wrong, but I think the 34 uses different height sights than the 17.

      Fine bead, or full bead?
      How often do you shoot?
My first guess would be operator error.

Standard Glock 17/22 Trijicon Night Sights.

At least 50 rounds a week of 22

Possible, but not likely at that distance.
I hit dead center with my 17 at same distance. Steel blacked out sights.

I know Dawson has different height sights. Will more than likely call them after the holidays. Slide is a little longer, but didn’t think it’d be that big of a difference.

Talked to someone at Dawson Precision. They informed me of that. Guess the .8” makes a difference. Ordered a set of steel blacked out sights with a taller thinner front sight.

Shot a box yesterday and still high.

            At least it shoots.
