    1. Fritos on bottom
    2. Next, mild cheddar
    3. Next, lettuce and tomatoes
    4. Next, FRESH jalapeños cut up
    5. Pour chili on top and enjoy
It had to be Wolf brand back in the day, but as others have stated, it has gone way down hill. Hormel is better, but need to find something else

            No.
I know... Everything was going great until he put Lettuce in there. These are not nachos. This is Frito Pie. That being said I saw where you put Sour Cream in yours.... I'm not sure which is worse!

                No.
I’d rather eat beans in my chili than have lettuce in my frito pie. That’s just disgusting.

                  Billy.....REALLY????? Lettuce????? Really?????

I love Frito Pie! No canned Chili..ever.

Fritos, homemade chili (no beans) and cheese. Period.

Finally someone says mustard. I was a sour cream guy for many years but after trying it, Mustard is totally legit on a frito pie. Give it a whirl on tamales too, love me some tamales/mustard.

After the last Frito pie I had , I will never buy Wolf brand again ! I heated it up an all I saw was a reddish brown Liquid , No Meat That Sh*T Has Gone Down Hill /Over the Hill ! ....an to be Honest , I like Beans in Chili but would rather have no beans with Frito Pie . The next time I buy canned chili for Frito Pie it will NOT be Wolf Brand ! The answer is... Onions , Sliced Jalapeños , Sharp Cheddar , an Mustard for the Win ! Sometimes a dash of Louisiana Hot Sauce

If you can find it,Campbells chili is dang good!
                            Onions
                            Cheese
                            Sour cream on top
I dunno how anybody can eat wolf brand chili, and I can stomach just about anything.

You stole my thunder. Usually Hormel or Wolf brand chili. A hunt I was on back in November keyed me in to the greatness that is substituting flamin hot cheetos for the fritos. Nacho cheese and jalapenos are key to get the ballpark feel though. However, I recently discovered HEB brand Reaper Puffs on a different hunt I was on. They are cheese puffs with Carolina Reaper as the spice and they could be the best "chip" ever made. The last "frito pie" I had, I used these and it was even better than the cheetos....
