    Exotic Woods

As the title states I am looking to buy some Padauk wood to make some plaques for my European mounts on my critters from Africa. Looking for a good affordable source for exotic hardwoods such as this in and or near kerrville and or San Antonio

Dakota Premium Hardwoods usually have a decent exotic selection.
They have a branch in san Antonio also, I think.

Dakota hardwoods. Off Pierre Biedel (sp) north of 410.

Woodcraft is way high, but there wood would be ready to go. From Dakota you'll need a planer and such.

If you want some strips to glue up to make plaques, I have quite a bit.

Have not been in to SA yet I wanted a plan before I made the drive and fought traffic.

I will look into both places mentioned

You might look at cookwoods.com, I built long bows and bought a lot of exotic wood from them.

Woodcraft is where I use to get most of my "normal" exotic stuff. There are a lot of websites, but most of the ones I used were mainly for knife and call blanks, not dimensional lumber type stuff.
