      Finally in camp … dang San Antonio traffic got us… a couple mounts on the wall from here… don’t know 100% bout the sheep but deer for sure can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds

                    Looks like a couple of dall sheep, a stone and a desert bighorn. Any idea on where they came from?

                    To shoot those animals now you are looking at a couple hundred grand

                      Somewhere further west shot back in the early fifties… ranch has been in the family since 1905

                          A lot further than further west, the stone and dall sheep live up in British Columbia/N.W.T up into Alaska.

                          Those trophies are not to be taken lightly, someone put in some serious effort to hunt those animals.

                          Shame they have deteriorated so badly

                            It is a shame eventually I may try and surprise the landowner and get them redone… I actually found some old Boone and crocket paperwork on em from 1951 I’ll have to take a picture of it pretty cool

                                Looks like it’s gonna be a neat place. Lots of porcupines in that part of the world. They will hammer some protein if y’all put it out. Sometimes they can be worse than coons.
