Dern this sucks

So my hunting buddy invites me fishing on Lake Fork today.
It was him, his step son, 5 year old granddaughter and me.

We was out 5 hours. Went through about 7 lbs fresh chicken livers. We caught guessing 100. We kept 75. We cleaned, filleted and put them I Ziploc bags at the dock. Put them on ice at camp.

He give it all to me. I bring it home and soak it in ice water.
Wife gets home, sees it soaking says oh gross and gives a derisive snort turns and turns and walks away.

She makes it difficult to enjoy hunting and fishing.....

I feel you man. Same way here. I have freezer full of ground KS whitetail. Somehow she always forgets for 20 years now and buys ground from Walmart...

That was pretty much a prerequisite for me to date someone. Luckily my bride loves to fish, and her dad and brother love to hunt and fish. Her brother goes by “Mexico” I think....it’s a small world.
