Default Chandeleur Islands

We went last weekend. Had a blast. We were the first group of the year. We killed the redfish. We caught a bunch of trout but there was a lot of small ones.

We had bad fog a couple times, but it did not fog until we were already fishing . They had to sound horn so we could get back to boat. I had a hunting gps app on phone and it helped immensely

On last afternoon I hooked into a big bull red. He pulled our boat around for 40 minutes. We finally had to leave to get back to boat before dark. So, I tried to horse him a little, lol. It was 10lb test and it did not work out well. Good times

Only saw one small black tip. Saw lots of stingrays. No one else saw a shark
