We watched Last Man Standing last night. My wife and I can't say that we could recommend it. It was oky, but way over the top with the gun battles. He must have had 50 rounds in each .45 magazine (he always shot with one in each hand. He did occsionally change magazines, but I don't know where he got them.

I don’t know if this one was famous or not. My English teacher in high school made us watch it and I loved it. Cool Hand Luke. I bet I have watched it 10 times.

Lot of good ones already mentioned, which I'll second, although quite a few of these aren't really unknown:
                        Hellfighters
                        Second Hand Lions
                        Snowy River Man
                        Tin Cup
                        True Romance
                        Man on Fire

But here's the one to look up. One of the Cohen Brothers' early movies, with Francis McDormand and M Emmet Walsh. Very memorable scene involving a knife.

                        Blood Simple

We just got through watching Overcomer. What an emotional, gut wrenching, heart warming, wonderful film. I highly recomemd it. You won't be disappointed if you watch it all the way through! Be prepared to have a lump in your throat at times.

Trust me. It is a great film with some grat acting!
