Does anyone have experience building an RV park?

Just acquired a lot close to Lake Texoma that I'm thinking of putting an RV park on. Im looking for some ballpark estimates to run ther water and electric to each pad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We built one. Roughly $20k in cost for material, labor and equipment. It’s not a huge, around 40 spots. We eventually bought a building with showers and washers/dryers for around another $20k. We didn’t do any concrete, just gravel. We’re in an area with a lot of work, and set up for monthly stays.

Any kind of regulatory or permitting issues associated with building an rv park?
Do you carry any kind of insurance?

Almost complete with a build on Sam Rayburn. Get ready for lots of work, mine is filling fast though

It's just over an acre with Hope's of buying the neighboring acre lot and was looking at gravel pads 20' wide x 40' long. It's outside of any city limits so permitting shouldn't be an issue. Will have insurance at some point but right now Im in the process if clearing the land.

What is going to be built up at Rayburn that is needing workers?

Following this! I've been wanting to get into the RV business for a long time.

They are building q pipeline near Pineland. I’m not messing with the workers we are taking long term rvs

40' is not long enough. Most of the RV’s now are 31’ - 45’ plus the tow or towed vehicle.

                            What's your recommendation on size?

Couple scenarios, both consider a 4 door short bed truck.

                              33’ trailer + 21’ truck = 54’

                              45’ trailer + 21’ truck = 66’

These lengths are on par with most RV parks I have looked at with a few having spots up to 70’ long.
