Anybody use these to reload 223? I didn't notice these were magnum until I got home.

I use them for 5.56 in AR applications...great primer with a hard cup.

Heck no I wouldn’t use those for .223.

They work great with ball powder. My first choice for reloading SRP ammo.
Much better primer than Rem 7-1/2.

When I can't get 450's I just use 550's for .223 and .300 blackout. According to old CCI data they were the same primer anyway.
I've even used 550's for 6.5 creed SRP cases with no problems or accuracy issue.

I had heard that, but wasn't too worried,.as I had found 3 bricks in my reloading closet. Not CCI, but they worked.
