Yes it is and I think you are pretty close on your guess. I know opening weekend a buck was killed that field dressed 230 about a mile away from where this buck lives.

He is still alive. One of the kids will hopefully get him over Thanksgiving weekend. My 8 year old daughter has never shot a deer before so he could be in trouble. I'm thinking with his size, she has a better chance of hitting him.
