Please dont drink and drive
This message is for all of us. Its simple, dont do it.
Last sat., i lost my brother in law. https://www.kbtx.com/2022/05/16/dime...-motorcyclist/ Everyone loses when these totally preventable "accidents" occur. I met Alan "Eugene" Barnes (he went by Alan) several years (1985) before i met his sister..(1988) He loved to fish and hunt, we met at Votech, Electricity program, he was a 1st yr student when i was in my 2nd. He was always a good brother in law to me.. i think he knew i would do my best to take care of his little sister. We just celebrated our 32nd. I feel bad for Mr. Kubena, this is going to wreck his life too. My brother lost his daughter to a drunk driver 20yrs ago.. the pain and sorrow never goes away.. |

So sorry for your loss, that's heart breaking. I'm a PO, I've seen these things happen more than I care to remember. As stated, please don't drink and drive, get a ride, its not worth killing an innocent person.

Prayers for you and your family during this tragic loss. I didn't know Alan but he worked for the same company that I do. I have heard nothing but what a great guy that he was. This has been a real eye opener for me. I have known Billy my whole life and God knows that he didn't want this to happen but the consequences will haunt him for the rest of his life.

Sorry for your loss
No tolerance for drunk drivers. Think first time should result in 5yr prison sentence with no early release Had a drunk jump the curb into our parking lot yesterday at lunch and take out 2 cars. One likely a total. Very lucky that nobody was injured 5min later and lady that had car totaled would have been sitting in it. |

My condolences to you and your family and sister.
When I was very young, my dad's sister was run over by a drunk at 3 in the afternoon. She was riding her bike on a path about 50 yards from the road and he left the road, ran her over returned to the road and went home. He was the mayor's son and was never charged. a few years before or after, my dad's brother and wife were also killed by a drunk driver. That was in the 60's and 70's, long before drunk driving laws were on the books. If you drink, don't drive. It is easier to have someone sober drive you. |

Very tragic, my condolences.
I also have no tolerance for drunk drivers. My best friends wife was killed going to work early in the morning by a drunk. |

Repeat offenders (3rd time) are getting out shortly after. I thought the 3rd time was a charm and you stayed awhile. Not the case now!

Horrible. I worked a DWI Unit for a few years and it is a society problem. With U we and Lyft it is easily avoided and senseless

My family lives every day with the consequences of a drunk driver. My wife was hit head 13 months ago & is in a wheelchair as of now, BUT I know a God. People that stink & drive are extremely selfish people. They think about no one but themselves, not the ones that would be affected by their ignorance.
