Help !!!! Lost My Dog ! - TexasBowhunter.com Community Discussion Forums

Our land butts up to the Grapevine Corp land. I was mowing our south pasture while my dogs were swimming in our lake. When I was done mowing my 8yr old Catahoula (Female) was not around. She has helped track wounded deer out of the vine the past 7 years. It’s not like her to not come to the truck when I honk the horn. She is either dead or someone found her. She is very friendly and will go to anyone and jump in anyone vehicle. I’m devastated that she is lost and not home. Her name is Pepper.

I panic every time mine gets loose, even though she is 14. She got loose once as a pup. Burlson PD picked her up, thankfully!

I hate to hear this!! Dogs are amazing animals. My wife’s dog was missing for 16 days after her wreck that’s was 4 miles from the house. On the 16th day he showed up on the porch. Just keep going back & honking the horn.

Look for the closest Face book city page. We have found our bulldog several times posting a Lost dog picture of him.

Not sure of where you lost her vs where your house is but if it's a ways from the house and you are worried she wont know the way home you can leave a shirt there and she will stay with the scent. Just have to keep going back and checking. Hope you find her
