I wonder if the corn industry is immune to prostitute like the tobacco industry is?

This doesn’t make a lot of sense, but we are talking about democrats here. E15 gas is sold at other times of the year, just not in the summer. The EPA banned E15 for sale in the summer because they feared it’d create more smog.

So these enviro nuts will praise him for this, but in reality it is going against something they probably already protested for. SMH

Bought a bunch of ethanol-free gas at Bucees yesterday. Worth the extra 0.50/gal for the generator and small engines.

Anyone ever run this stuff and checked the mileage against running regular? I ran it once in my wife’s FlexFuel vehicle, and got less than stellar mileage, so I just figured it was a wash. That was only one days point though.

Corn alcohol is supposed to be aged in oak casks, and sipped neat, not burned in engines.

Here's my take.
My 98 GMC K1500 Z71 with the 5.7L V8 running 87 Octane @ 75 mph avg gets 14 mpg.

Dad's 05 GMC K1500 with the 5.3L V8 running E15 with a 58 mph avg gets 12.5 mpg.

Hmmm

Best i remember from my personal experience is that Ethanol fuels produce 10% less emissions. They also produce 10% less in fuel economy so it's an absolute wash in emissions vs economy. They also generate less horsepower but I don't remember the percentage

so cows eat corn, pigs and chicken eat corn and little Mikey has it in his cereal. so gas will go down and it will cost more to eat due to shortages....oh and wait....the fertilizer ingredients for corn come from Russia so the yield will be lower as that is sanctioned. And its summer time and everyone wants to grill sweet corn with a steak. Can this guy just fade away or something FFS.

So according to the dems, climate change is the #1 threat to the US. So let's increase the amount of ethanol in our fuel to a level above what the EPA recommends due to smog concerns.

Also didn't FJB say we would have food shortages. So let's use more food for gas.

Doesn't make sense, but then I can't understand what the dems stand for since they always do opposite.

I was surprised, as it typically has been $1 higher. This time it was ~$3.50 for ethanol and $3.99 for ethanol-free.
