Sometimes they open up just inside the hide. I’ve shot several that looked like bullet hole on near side and turkey track on exit.

Nice deer. Can't help you on the broadhead.

I bet it did open. Reapers are designed to close when the arrow comes to rest. There is a YouTube video about it.

So now I have the pics out of the way. I got off work early and decided to go to the lease for a quick evening sit. Sat there all afternoon and figured I was going to see the pigs because I kept hearing them all afternoon on the creek which is close by. Looked up at 7 and I saw this buck and his running buddy walking my way and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. They went passed me and went to the tank for drink and before I knew it they both jumped in the pen at 17 yards. After what felt like a eternity of him facing me the pigs started up again and he turned to look and got broadside. I was shaking like a leaf and hit a little high, but it was still a good shot and he only made it 30 yards from the shot and tipped over

I’m glad I went. I almost talked myself out of going

Oh it did. It was the 2” and it put a heck of a hole in him, and the entrance was bigger than I expected

Very nice bow kill. Nice job!!!! He’s a cool buck. Big congrats again. I’m happy for you. I knew when you called yesterday evening you had probably just launched a Reaper at something. Lol

Short tracks and watching them drop are a huge blessing in the bow hunting world!!!
