We use corks down here. And a Mansfield Mauler is just another type of cork. Matter of fact, I've always called 'em mauler corks.

One of my older fishing buddies still calls 'em touts. I use to call 'em touts and somewhere along the way I changed to calling them tails.

I still occasionally use the word tout. My grandfather and Dad called them touts all through my younger years.
Mark me down as one who knows what a Mansfield mauler is as well.
Anybody remember the Alameda cork? Is it still in production down there?
