I don’t do near as much manual labor as I did when I first met you, so now I refuse to use gloves when I do have to work with my hands. I hope I never lose calluses and cuts, nicks and scrapes. I hope that’s what my kids remember about my hands.

Cheaper to grow it than buy it.

Hard to see the calluses and cuts when you are pointing your finger[emoji12][emoji23].

Metal glove clips, usually have a bottle of water in my back pocket but if I don’t I’ll stick them in my pocket.

No help for you other than don't do what I do. Have a drawer I keep mine in. Haven't in them in awhile. A month I went in there to grab a pair. 10 gloves all right hand, not sure how in the hell that happens.

I figured we would digress to this at some point. Frankly I was trying to figure out how to get there first.

I got tired of buying them and grew my own. Haven't worn gloves in 40 years.

I was in a similar boat, pun intended. I never learned how to ski as a kid. I wanted to learn/was forced to learn after I was 40+. After a couple of times of trying to get up on skis, I realized my palm was hurting. I looked at my hand, saw some blood and raw skin, and realized the handle of the rope was held between my calluses on my palm and my wedding band on my finger. I ripped a 1/4 inch of flesh off my hand lol. I learned that day my hands aren’t as tough as I thought they were lmao
