Exactly.... my daughter shot a 13.5 inch 6 point last weekend. Her second buck ever, cool little buck and she was happy! So I was happy!

You think I was gonna share that dude on here with all the wannabe GS Wardens asking questions? Nope! It's not their dam job anyway, I'm sure we have plenty of REAL wardens scrolling as it is doing the jobs they're paid to do...

And sure as heck wasn't gonna put a 16 year old girl through some BS because some wanna be has a power trip.

Sad part That’s just what we need for our group... we already have multitudes of groups acting our “sport” lets just bash the younger generation out
of hunting or new hunters or hell people that don’t care but just enjoy the woods and meat provided.

Two 8’s, an old cull 6, and a doe have hit the ice chests. The Mrs. got an 8 and a doe Sat. morning on our place. I took an 8 and a 6 this week on the MLD club I am on.We both passed up numerous deer. I have seen bucks searching and a few fighting. But, none tending this week. I have only hunted mornings since the evenings are warm and movement slow after 9 am in my areas.

Since opening day I have watched 7 does eat under the same oak tree morning and evening in my neighbors pasture. On my side of the fence I have seen 1 doe and a yearling, a spike and a 7pt. Most of my deer have went on walkabout and wont be home till after Thanksgiving. Happens every year.

It amazes me how every year I watch 20-25 deer behind my house daily all the way up until around September 20-25 then I may not see a deer on my property for 1-2 months then they all show back up like they were never gone.

Posted this in its own thread, but my buddy killed this in SNF. His first deer ever, on public land, with a bow.. he’s ruined.

Slackers, lol. Been up since 3 and was at work at 3:45. Dont know if I'm gonna go after work are not, but its sure gonna be some good hunting this weekend
